The Trust is serving the people of 1000 villages in and around Varadaiahpalem Mandal- an underdeveloped area in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh- through six wings -formed for specific service activity. They are Community Development, Education, Health, Income Generation, Agriculture& Environment and Welfare (of physically challenged people).

For any development work to be effective, people’s participation is essential. And hence, we have decided to involve village youth in the development of their own villages.

Two Hundred and Twenty Four Panchayats covering 1000 villages in Varadaiahpalem, B. N. Kandriga, Pitchatoor, KVB Puram, Nagalapuram, Narayanavanam, Sullurpet, Tada, Doravarisathram and Satyavedu mandals have been identified to take up service activities under public participation mode.

On an average 18-35 youth will be identified in each Panchayat. Their services will be enlisted by the Trust after they take an oath. And these youth is expected to work for their village every Sunday on a voluntary basis.
For the selected people, the Trust will provide the following:

  • Regular training and motivational sessions from experts in different fields-using audio/visual aids
  • Exposure on existing Model Villages in AP and other states through presentations and study tours
  • Special uniforms
  • Identity cards (ID cards)

And there will be periodical meetings with the groups to review the progress of their respective works. Besides that, they will be given training in yoga and meditation. Special sessions on human values and self-discipline will be conducted.
